A food drive last Friday on the Carleton College campus raised enough money to buy 65 pounds of fruit juice, milk, yoghurt and other foods that were donated to the food shelf at the Community Action Center (CAC) in Northfield.

Econo Foods and Cub Foods have long supplied groceries for Northfield community shoppers, but beginning last March, the stores took their roles a step further.
In a collaborative program with the Northfield Community Action Center (CAC) Food Shelf, the stores raised money to provide food to hungry people throughout the community.
